Which consumer experiences cheered you recently and which ones made you want to scream or weep?
Here are my best and worst consumer experiences this week:
My best: A great family reunion
My family gathered in Seattle this week for a family reunion. We had a wonderful time.
Since we have several young children, we went to kid friendly restaurants and to parks.
A great time was had by all.
My worst: Only being able to find a few birthday decorations
To find birthday decorations, we went to the QFC in Wallingford and the nearby Bartell Drugs.
QFC had nothing. Bartells had happy birthday balloons and candles and striped paper plates and napkins.
Staff at both stores said they can’t get birthday items because they’re small stores and don’t have room.
