
For most cooks, cooking a big Thanksgiving dinner takes a huge amount of planning and effort. For some, it’s stressful.
Ways reduce the challenges are: make the side dishes the day before, prepare at least two dishes you know how to cook well, use a meat thermometer, serve your meal in cast-iron pans or other heavy-duty cookware to keep things warm, have a cleanup plan, and buy white take-out boxes to send leftovers home with the guests.
