Millions of Americans will celebrate Easter this year, with activities including going to church services, having family dinners, and hunting for Easter eggs.
However, many people’s celebrations will be less expensive this year, according to a WalletHub survey. It found that 47 percent of Americans will skip dyeing eggs this Easter due to the price of eggs. Scaled down celebrations are largely the result of inflation and tariffs, which have left little room for big holiday spending.
WalletHub’s survey was developed to find out Americans’ attitudes on the Easter holiday this season, during challenging economic times, including people’s thoughts on charitable giving, spending, and religion.
