Labor Day sales are already underway at many retail outlets and online. The sales may last longer than the end of Labor Day, but don’t be caught flatfooted. The best bargains may be gone if you delay too long.

I’m so sorry you’re having a heat wave. It sounds awful. My daughter, who lives near Sacramento, said they were predicted to have a week of weather more than 110 degrees. The poor sheep. I can’t imagine.
