If you haven’t voted yet, vote for Kamala Harris for president on Tuesday.
It’s so concerning when I hear people being interviewed on the radio or TV and they say they’re going to vote for Donald Trump because they think Trump will do something to help them.
It’s clear. Trump is only interesting in helping himself, and, after that, the wealthy in America. Think Elon Musk jumping around on stages in support of Trump. Musk’s “excitement” isn’t about helping the American people. It’s about him making more and more money for himself and his companies. You’re not going to get cheaper, safer Teslas under a Trump administration.
The Trump administration has a record. I wrote dozens of articles on this blog reporting during the Trump years on the reduction in the fines against companies; blocked consumer legislation; watered down regulations; corporate, anti-consumer, unqualified appointments to government agencies; environmental regulations gutted; important government programs cut; climate change programs weakened; government funding reduced through cutting the corporate tax rate; and more.
Trump even proposed that the consumer protection function of state attorneys general be eliminated.
And we all know the damage his appointments to the U.S. Supreme Court are doing daily.
As The New York Times Editorial Board recommends, believe what Trump says he will do in a second term:
- Prosecute his enemies.
- Order mass deportations.
- Use soldiers against citizens.
- Play politics with disasters.
- Abandon allies.
Vote Harris on Tuesday.
