Today’s consumer tip: Three ways to cut sugar consumption

Most Americans eat too much sugar.

You can cut sugar consumption by: brewing your coffee with a cinnamon stick or vanilla bean instead of using flavored creamers, using fruit or a fruit puree as a sweetener for pancakes and waffles, and cutting sugar up to one third in recipes for cookies and cakes.
