Oriental Packing Co. is recalling about 377,000 pounds of blended seasoning curry products because it's contaminated with lead. Lead can accumulate in the body and cause serious and sometimes permanent health problems. The recalled products include:

To identify the recalled products, check the labels for the above names on glass and plastic bottles. The sizes including 2 ounce, 4 ounce, 6 ounce, 8 ounce, 22 ounce, and 5 pound. Look for the lot numbers and best used before date, listed here, on the top of the cap.
The seasoning was distributed in New York and Florida and sold through Internet sales and retail stores nationwide.
The seasonings were recalled after a sample taken by the New York State Health Department showed products contained lead. Oriental Packing Co. has stopped the production and distribution of the seasonings as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the company continues their investigation into what caused the problem.
No illnesses have been reported. Consumers should dispose the seasonings or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
