QVC recalls 1.1 million pairs of oven gloves after more than 90 people are burned

Over Gloves Recalled Due to Burn Risks Many ColorsThese festive looking oven gloves aren’t what they seem.

QVC is recalling about 1.1 million pairs of Temp-tations Oven Gloves because the gloves pose a burn risk.

The company has received 162 reports of insufficient heat protection, including 92 reports of minor burns.

The recall involves Temp-tations Oven Gloves imported and sold by QVC in single pairs, in sets of two, and in sets with drying mats or trivets.

The oven gloves made of cotton and elastane and come in small and large sizes. “Temp-tations by Tara” is printed on a label stitched to the inside of the gloves.

The oven gloves were sold on QVC.com, QVC televised shows, and QVC digital shopping platforms from August 2018 through August 2024. The cost was about $4 to $13 a pair and in bundled sets with other kitchen items about $14 to $26 per set.

Consumers should immediately stop using the oven gloves and contact QVC to receive a refund, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and company advise.
