Be sure to cast your vote in this very important election. Who we elect today will affect our consumer lives for many years to come.
Not only is the presidential race important, the down-ballot races also need our attention. We need representatives in Congress who are willing to get things done rather than just obstruct progress.
At the state level, we need progressive governors. The governor and state legislatures determine the level of service that we have in many areas of our lives – roads, schools, water quality, mass transit, and many more.
At the local level, our cities and counties determine how our communities grow and whether we’ll have walkable communities and adequate parks and open space.
So, study up if you aren’t familiar with the candidates and issues. And, vote for candidates that will help move us forward – not backwards – at every level of government.
