I was fortunate to be able to spend the day with my daughter and her family. After a nice brunch, we enjoyed chocolate ice cream cake.
I didn’t really appreciate my mom fully until my oldest daughter was born. I couldn’t believe all the work that having a child entailed.
I feel fortunate to have been able to have two daughters who bring joy into my life.
Grandchildren in addition provide a special sweetness.
