Father’s Day gives us the opportunity to make memories or share memories with those we love.
Father’s are very important figures in our lives, as I said in my post about my father.
In his presidential proclamation for Father’s Day, President Obama said:
Fathers provide the discipline, guidance, and love it takes to flourish. With persistence and patience, generosity and integrity, they build our cores and help us understand right from wrong. They are some of our earliest and strongest sources of support and encouragement, and they serve as role models and sounding boards in our youth and as we grow.
I hope you’re having a wonderful Father’s Day. It’s important to take the time to celebrate the significant work fathers do in contributing to families, which are the backbone of our communities.
