It was fun today to go to the awards luncheon for the Washington Press Association.
I received eight awards including the following:
First Place – Photo – Mount Rainier
Second Place – Editorial Commentary – News – “Following Vermont’s Lead, Other States Poised to Take Action on GMO Food Labeling”
Second Place – Features – Arts and Entertainment – “Is the Washington Post Writing Favorable Articles About Gaming?”
I enjoyed visiting with my journalist colleagues. It was interesting to learn about their work and tell people how much I enjoy blogging about baby boomer consumer issues.
