
More Americans want to be told “I love you” daily than people in other countries, according to a poll of 12,654 people by EliteSingles.
Americans want to hear “I love you” daily three times more than Europeans.
The survey shows:
- 73 percent of Americans want to be told "I love you" daily, compared to 24 percent of Europeans.
- The least romantic country polled was the Netherlands, with only 10 percent of people wanting to hear “I love you” daily.
- Canada came second with 66 percent of respondents wanting a daily “I love you.”
The survey also shows that men on the West Coast want to hear “I love you” daily more than women, while women want to hear it more than men in the East.
Survey details:
- On the East Coast, 77 percent of men want to hear “I love you” daily, compared to 68 percent of women.
- On the West Coast, 80 percent of women want to hear “I love you” daily, compared to 68 percent of men.
- In Washington, 74 percent of men want to be told “I love you” daily, compared to 57 percent of women.
- In Virginia, 88 percent of women want to be told “I love you” daily, compared to 71 percent of men.
