What were your best and worst consumer experiences this week?
Which consumer happenings cheered you this week and which ones made you want to scream or weep?
Here are my best and worst consumer experiences this week:
My best: Dinner at LaTaqueria

A friend called this week at the last minute and asked if I wanted to go out for Mexican food. He suggested we go to a restaurant where he used to eat frequently. I said no. The food doesn’t taste fresh. Why bother to go out and eat food of less than average quality.
We went over other places we could go. I got out the phonebook for ideas. I suggested LaTaqueria in downtown Olympia, Wash. The food is good, but sometimes the waitresses are slow and not polite. However, their food is usually tasty.
We had burritos, and the waiter was great. Our burritos weren't warm enough, but the ingredients were fresh and tasty. We told the waiter about it as we were leaving, and he said he’d be sure the next time that our meals were the right temperature.
My worst: Lunch at Olive Garden
A group of my friends meets monthly. We often go to Olive Garden. The company of my friends is great, the food is average.
Friday, the food was average as usual, but one of the waitresses was snippy. Usually, they’re pleasant and even joke with our group. I plan to fill out the online evaluation we were given.
