San Diego’s Safari Park is my best consumer experience, while blood test disappoints

The best: Trying out my new telephoto lens at the Safari Park

During a vacation to visit with my niece and her family in San Diego, a trip to the Safari Park was an amazing highlight. I was able to try out the telephoto lens for my new Canon t5i.

We went on a Caravan Tour, a truck that drives you through the park. We fed giraffes and a rhinoceros and got a close up look at many of the herds of animals. It was difficult to pick out one photo to include here.

Fantastic. It's so much fun to travel.

The worst: A blood test

I don’t like getting blood tests – at all. However, most of the time the technicians do an O.K. job.

Friday, however, the test was quite painful. The technician kept jabbing and jabbing the needle around in my arm. Finally, finally, she was able to poke a vein and get the thing over with.

I’ll ask for someone else if I go there again.
