Bloggers are keeping busy as summer begins

We’re having a heat wave here in the Pacific Northwest. Monday it’s going to be 110 degrees, an all-time record. I wrote about how to avoid heat-related illness. I learned a couple of things: a fan won’t prevent heat-related illness while a cool shower will cool you down.

We’re getting some nice days here in the Seattle area, which is leading to spring activities such as planting gardens and hiking. Our blogging group, which spreads out from coast to coast, is as busy as bees with a variety of activities and thoughts

Bloggers ready to venture out, but caution still needed

It isn’t over yet, so keep wearing masks and social distancing. It’s worrisome that people are rushing to go to activities again. While it’s exciting that millions of people are being vaccinated, kids are back in school, and the cases and deaths from coronavirus went down and are now plateauing, this is far from over.

On Saturday, I received a call from a friend to remind that nine glowing monoliths would be displayed in a local park after dark. She thought I might want to go and take photos. Glowhenge is an art project created by Dave Sederberg owner of Pacific Stage.

Bloggers consider loss and the future

It’s been a difficult week. I’ve been struggling to get 1,400 photos off my Samsung phone onto my Apple desktop or my laptop. My phone was nearly full, so I wasn’t able to take more photos and videos.

How’s your stress level?

It’s nice to not have a president who spews hate and calls people names on Twitter every day. It’s also nice that he’s not sitting in the oval office signing harmful executive orders and causing other trouble.
