Meryl Baer at Six Decades and Counting is the host for this week’s Best of Boomer Blogs #440.
Baer tells us the new month brings promise of spring. As she’s traveling home from a cross-country trip, she’s seeing winter’s dullness fade and signs of renewal everywhere.
Not me. I went from the Seattle area to Sacramento to see my granddaughter in a play. I was looking forward to getting some California sunshine on my body, but oh, no. Not only did it rain while I was there, we had two days of heavy storms.

Meanwhile, other boomer bloggers are writing about snow in the New York area but hopes for spring, why millennial women are great, and consumer issues including savings goals, chemicals in cosmetics, and advertising alcohol to kids.
