Today’s consumer tip: Don’t wear high heels

High Heels

Over the years, I’ve written about how bad high heels are for women’s feet.

Common problems associated with high heels and pointy toe shoes are bunions, hammer toes, and tight calf muscles.

Problems are even more likely for baby boomer women, whose feet change as they age.

I was reminded of these foot problems when I read an article in The Washington Post about a 317-meter race in high heels. Ouch.
