Although I miss celebrating with my family who live far away now, I’m thankful today for my family, my community, and my health.
In these challenging times, it’s difficult to know what’s next. Our nation and families have been through so much – the Great Recession, the pandemic, and now war. So many losses in jobs, connections, and even, for some, those we love.
We need to keep staying strong and do what we can to get joy.
On joy, this photo really cheers me up. My granddaughter Cecilia visited her brother Rafa at Elms College in Chicopee, Mass., and was able to watch him play volleyball, including being honored at the senior recognition before the game Saturday.
