What were your best and worst consumer experiences this week?

Which consumer experiences cheered you recently and which ones made you want to scream or weep?

Here are my best and worst consumer experiences this week:

My best: Getting photos from a wedding

Clark Wedding Dancing

My cousin’s granddaughter was married Friday in Yakima, Wash. It was fun to attend and take photos. I hadn’t planned to take many, but the videographer asked me to take photos for her. She said it was difficult to do the video and shoot stills, too.

It was nice to travel to Eastern Washington in the sunshine. I had a good time visiting with my family and meeting new people.

My worst: A stay at Comfort Inn

 Comfort Inn

Right after I got back from Yakima, my sister and I went to Bellingham for a surprise birthday party for my niece.

The Comfort Inn where we stayed used very strong chemicals to clean the carpet in the hallway. It smelled terrible. I don’t know why they clean the carpets at 2 p.m. on Sunday, just as customers are checking in on one of their busiest days of the week.
