Many communities in the United States are known as great vacation spots and offer fun activities, entertainment, and just rest and relaxation opportunities.
Here’s a list of cities getting the nod as among the best places to celebrate Labor Day 2025. To develop the list, I visited about two dozen websites to determine which cities turned up the most often.
The winners are:
- Chicago, New York
- Seattle, Orlando
- Boston, Denver, Nashville, Washington, D.C.
- Miami, San Diego
- Anchorage, Atlanta, Austin
- Los Angeles
- Dallas, Martha’s Vineyard, Olympic Peninsula, San Francisco, Yakima
The list looks a lot like previous years, but Yakima and the Olympic Peninsula, both in Washington state, are new. It was nice to see them get a mention.
And, then, I always like to see Seattle, in my area, turn up on the list.
