It’s my birthday.
It was fun to be able to celebrate my birthday at an outside birthday party with a few fully vaccinated friends.
It was sad not to be able to travel to Madrid or Sacramento and be with my daughters for my birthday. However, I am happy to be alive and not dead from covid-19.
And it was nice to visit with friends. Last year, small gatherings weren’t allowed. So, this year is progress.
I hope the pandemic can be brought under control soon, and we can get back to our normal lives. However, I urge everyone to be cautious. So much is unknown about the coronavirus, such as what effect the variants are going to have, that we can’t let down our guard.
