Trek Bicycle is recalling about 316,500 Bontrager Satellite City Bicycle Pedals in the United States and about 28,650 in Canada. If the recalled pedals are incorrectly installed by the retailer during assembly, they can fall off the crank arm of the bicycle, posing fall and injury hazards to the rider.

The CPSC announced Wednesday that Peloton agreed to recall its Tread and Tread+ treadmills following an April 17 safety warning by the agency. The CPSC said Tread+ treadmills have been involved in 72 reports of people, pets, or objects being pulled under the rear of the treadmill.
Peloton is recalling about 1,050 Peloton Tread treadmills in the U.S. and about 5,400 in Canada. The treadmill’s touchscreen can detach and fall, posing a risk of injury to consumers. The company is aware of 18 reports of the touchscreen loosening and six reports of the touchscreen detaching and falling.
After initially refusing recommendations by the CPSC to recall the Peloton Tread+ treadmill, Peloton agreed Wednesday to recall about 125,000 of the treadmills. Adult users, children, pets, and objects can be pulled underneath the rear of the treadmill, posing a risk of injury or death.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Peloton announced two separate voluntary recalls on Wednesday of Peloton treadmills, one of the Tread+ treadmill and one of the Tread treadmill. Consumers who have purchased either treadmill should immediately stop using it.
The U.S. CPSC is warning consumers about the danger of the Peloton Tread+ exercise machine after incidents of small children and a pet being injured beneath the machines. The CPSC has found that the public health and safety requires this notice to warn the public quickly about the hazard.
Black Diamond is recalling about 66,100 sport avalanche transceivers in the U.S. and about 12,500 in Canada. Black Diamond has received 65 reports of the transceiver modes switching unexpectedly while in use. One death and a skier who was caught in an avalanche and injured were reported.
