Former middle class families now fighting homelessness

HomeForeclosure

There’s no doubt about it.

This recession is driving consumers from the middle class further away from their goals and aspirations and, in some cases, into poverty.

Last August, construction-worker Troy Renault, his wife Tammy, and their five children were living in a comfortable, three-bedroom home in Lebanon, Tennessee. The family now resides in a donated trailer on a local campground, having downgraded from about 1,900 square feet to about 215, reports the article “Middle Class No More, Families Struggle to Fight Off Homelessness” on The Huffington Post.

See the HuffPost series for details about the Renault family and other Americans who are struggling with the loss of their home and homelessness in these recessionary times.
