Airline prices are going up and up, as you've probably noticed if you travel frequently or even occasionally.
Get your tickets as soon as possible before your trip.
I'm a frequent flyer on American Airlines. I tried in August to get a mileage ticket for the holidays, but the reservations clerk said they were booking mileage tickets about a year out.
I was able, however, to get one for the spring.
