The new light bulbs are a step forward, I think, in terms of energy saving so I applaud the change. However, it irritates me that the manufacturers are claiming that the light bulbs will last for many, many years. They simply don’t. About a decade ago, I took a package of light bulbs back to Costco because they weren’t lasting as long as the manufacturer indicated.

Years ago, I didn’t like Betty White being tacked onto the ground to sell Snickers bars and seniors being victimized in ads.
