Aerial cake fireworks
Winco Fireworks International is recalling about 87,120 aerial cake firework devices because the fireworks can tip over, posing a risk of serious injury from explosion and burn.
The recall involves the Unity 7 Shot 200 Gram Aerial Cake firework devices, model MEF6096. They were sold in red, white, and blue packages and weigh about one-third of a pound. The product has a red, white, and blue label with “Unity” written on it. The date codes between 03.16.2026 and 05.18.2026 and model number MEF6096 are under the barcode on the back of the package.
The fireworks were sold at Pyro City stores and other independent fireworks stores nationwide from January 2026 through May 2026. The cost was between $6 and $8.
Consumers should stop using the recalled fireworks immediately and return the fireworks to the store where they were purchased for a refund, the company and U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission advise. Consumers can receive cash or a refund to their form of payment.

Roman candles

Winco Fireworks International is recalling about 13,500 Roman candles because they can malfunction, and shots can blow out the side of the tube, posing a risk of serious injury from explosions and burns.
The recall involves the Roman Candles 8 Shot firework devices, Model Number RCLR-W8012. They were sold in red, white, and blue packages and weigh about 2 pounds. The packaging has a red, white, and blue label with “Hometown” written on it.
The Roman candles were sold at Pyro City stores and fireworks store nationwide from April 2026 through June 2026. The cost was between $17 and $19.
Consumers should stop using the recalled fireworks immediately and return the fireworks to the store where they were purchased for a refund, the company and U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission advise. Consumers can receive a cash refund or a refund to their form of payment.
