Americans estimate they’ll spend an average of $170 on Fourth of July celebrations in this year.

Americans will spend more than $4 billion on beer and wine and eat 150 million hotdogs. In addition, it’s one of the busiest travel periods of the year, with more than 72.2 million people planning to travel 50-plus miles from home this year.
